This place makes me sad. I believe it's a fantastic location with a great view, but it seems like the owner or whoever is in charge doesn't really care about golf. I enjoy coming here after work to hit some balls and practice, but it's so difficult to find a decent golf hitting mat, especially downstairs. On top of that, all the balls are filthy, not washed at all. I just hope that one day this place will improve. It has all the potential to be very successful, but for some reason, no one seems to care or wants to maintain it, even at a minimum level.
This place has really gone down hill. Half the mats on the upper lever don’t work and the old school mats downstairs are so bad you can barely hit from them. No pro shop and the corse is unplayable. You can’t put. Just pick up the ball and go to the next hole. This is all year around too. I have been here a few times through the year hoping it would be better but no such luck. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. You will be disappointed.
Pros: It was wide open around 8pm on a Wednesday. And the prices are pretty reasonable. Nice happy hour prices on drinks.
Cons: The balls are shamefully bad. Every single one is bald and cracked (the ball pictured is the norm). So if you are looking to really work on your game and get feedback from your ball flight, this is not the place. Also, paying extra to hit off the grass is not worth it. It’s basically just sand with a thin layer of dead grass on top. Again, not real practice. So set expectations accordingly.
Excellent place to practice your drills, and swing peacefully, and at leisure. There's plenty of shade areas, and benches. Extremely reasonable fare, and rather friendly staff. I visited the range daytime, so the bar was not opened yet, but it is well stocked for nighttime fun along with pool tables, and the range outside. Time goes by rather fast in there 👌, give them a visit.
Great happy hours but needs more comfortable seating outside for people who aren’t golfing. They have a few high chairs (no back support) or uncomfortable benches a few picnic tables. Bartenders are always so friendly.
I loved stopping here when I got off my flight. It’s a cool little range with a 9 hole Par 3 course and the greens weren’t boring. Met some cool people here and had an excellent time learning how much further my shots go in higher elevation and dryer conditions. Spin city on the greens out there. Wish Taylormade Golf would do more to help upkeep the property though.
Total dump. Seeing the 4 star rating makes me guess most people have very, very low expectations. The owner of this place should be ashamed. It's a dirty mess. That could be remedied without spending a dime just by picking up the trash and cleaning a little bit. Other than that, the balls are ancient and worn and the place is run down...time to put some money back into the operation.
So, if you just want to screw around like Happy effing Gilmore and drink like Ernest Hemingway, this is your place. Judging by the condition of the golf facilities and the mind blowing number of banners announcing 6 drinks for $20, I'm guessing that's all the owners want you to do anyway.
Recent February 2022 visit so need to change this review, the range balls I don't think they've changed since 5 years ago and my first visit to this place, the mats either as they are in horrible shape, they did add a van about a 100 yards out that you can hit with the range balls 🤣🤣 that was fun... Played the course and it's sad of the overall condition of the tee boxes, bunkers and greens.... The new restaurant and bar was the best part with great good and drinks priced very fair
Place is solid! Great selection of clubs and putters, good size bar with eating area.... outside seating ... Driving range is a large desert with plenty of greens to hit to, the lighted par 3 course is pretty sweet!!!
